MailChimp: E-Newsletters Just Got Free-er
Communication. It is essential to today's churches, non-profits, and small businesses. Your congregation, donors, and clients need (and want) to know what you're up to. And with today's technology, you have an amazing audience just a mouse-click away.
E-newsletters have become a standard in today's internet-driven community. As your inbox can undoubtedly attest, everyone is using them to communicate. Churches are sending announcements, prayer requests, and event notifications. Non-profits are sharing their stories to potential volunteers and clients. And, small businesses are notifying their customers of special sales and products and/or services. The question is...are you?
Most larger organizations see the value in such and endeavor, can afford the extra monthly expense, and have the staff to produce a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly e-newsletter. Smaller organizations, unfortunately, seem to shy away from anything that creates more work and/or expense.
MORE WORK: I regret to inform those who are overburdened and full of excuses not to maintain consistent communication...it's really easy, and it only takes a few minutes. Today's e-newsletter services, especially MailChimp, are so easy...you guessed it...even a monkey could do it!
MORE EXPENSE: Well, this excuse can be thrown out with yesterdays garbage. MailChimp has just begun offering their Forever Free Plan which gives you up to 3000 e-mails per month as long as your list is 500 subscribers or less.
I think you would be amazed at what one professional looking e-mail per month could do for your church, non-profit, or small business. Tell the world what your doing, and they just might want to be a part of it.
Below is an example of what your next e-communication could look like. Contact us today and ask about building your next e-newsletter template and integrating your signup form into your website.
