Poochapalooza
Poochapalooza is an annual fundraiser for The Heartworm Project and Paals - two non-profits focused animal rescue and training. The great team involved in the 2009 Createathon provided the design for this site. We integrated the design into Drupal and provided the functionality needed for the site including online registration and an online store.
Poieo Design was contracted to design and launch a website for our non-profit's fundraiser, Poochapalooza. At the time we hired them, the event was less than 45 days away, and we had not received all the artwork needed for the site from the artist. Because this event required pre-registration on the website, we needed the website to be operational within 15 days of the date Poieo Design was hired. Our needs included an on-line store and a slide show of photographs promoting dogs available for adoption. The website that was created is easy to navigate and pleasant to look at. Despite the tight deadline, the website was operational several days before the stated deadline. The company was quick to answer questions, both on the weekends and in the evening, and when questions could not be resolved via e-mail, they were equally as efficient and professional on the telephone. This is the second time I have selected this company. I have recommended them to many people and will use them again if I have another project requiring a website.
